Figuring out photography prices online shouldn't be difficult.
If prices are on a website, you have to decipher what you're actually getting with obscure terms like "sitting fees" and "starting out at $___." Unfortunately, it's not uncommon to find out afterward that the price might not even include the images.
Frankly, things should be way more straightforward. I don't see any reason to charge for more outfit changes, locations, indoors/outdoors, or whatever. Let's just find the best place to take the most amazing images of you in the way that captures what you value the most, whether that takes one hour or three.
By limiting myself to a small amount of bookings, I'm able to deliver images much quicker than a larger studio, typically within a few days and even some on the same day of a shoot.
One caveat is that I believe pictures belong on the wall. Right now, I have 10,703 pictures on my phone and it's almost impossible to find any one particular image.
We take pictures because we want to capture our best moments--why lose that in a folder on your phone when you can smile every time you walk by them at home?
